Interesting.
Although I object to the author calling the Libertarians a protest party. While I of course don't always agree with their party lines, when I've voted for them, I've done so because I generally favor their positions, not in protest against the Republicrats.
And I'm sure many Green voters have done the same, for reasons both similar and very different :)
