You can't be President of this nation without subscribing publicly to some form of Christianity.

Oft-cited examples of "persecution" of Christians in the US typically involve restrictions on the perceived right of Christians to establish their religion, e.g. criticism of aggressive prosyletizing within the Air Force Academy.
